Ron Boser Memorial Wall

comments and remembrances about our late POPS President

from Pharr South residents, present and past.

Betty Hayes  (69 Camellia) :  4/26 :  "I am so sorry to hear of the death of Ron Boser.  What a great guy and so helpful to everyone. He just recently helped me with a problem and I always felt so secure knowing Ron was there.  I served with him on the board several years ago and he was always doing what was needed in the best interest of all. Such a gentleman.  He will be missed by so many.  God bless you and comfort you, Mary and your family."

Elaine & Mike Botelho  (282 Painted Cup):  4/26 : "Our most sincere condolences.  Ron was above all else, a good guy, always ready to help anyone with anything. We were still in our motorhome when he discovered that Mike & I were considering buying a lot somewhere else.  He and Mary must have visited the RV a dozen times, selling the idea of Pharr South. He was quite a salesman for the community!"

Dale Smelser (former resident)  4-26 :  "We have fond memories of Ron. You are in our Prayers"

Carol and Ed Ransom: (33 Mistletoe): 4-26:  "Ed & I will miss Ron greatly. He was such a friendly person to everyone. He never walked by Ed at coffee without patting him on the shoulder & if he saw me coming would always say Carol, Carol Carol."

Glenn & Sally Vissering (82 Bluebonnet)  4-26  :  "Ron has done so many things  for the people in the park, and upkeep on the park property. He hardly ever said no to anyone who needed help with any electrical problem or to some one who just needed some advice. He will be greatly missed and I am sure that the folks in the park will support Mary with any help etc.. that she may need."

Milli & Howard Anderson  (379 Pansey)  4-26  :  "Such a sad day for Pharr South, losing Ron, a great worker for our park, so very cheerful all the time.  We all know he's in a far better place now, but that doesn't make it any easier to say "goodbye".  He was a fine, gentle, man."

Caroline & Joe Paulini (26 Mistletoe)  4-27  :  "We were saddened to hear of Ron Boser’s passing after the kidney surgery.  Our hearts go out to Mary. Ron was always friendly and helpful to Joe & I. He made us feel very welcome, not only as tenants of Pharr South, but as Canadians.  He had the true spirit of our American friends, and he will be sadly missed. May he rest in peace."

Dan and Terry Robards  (222 Sagebrush)  4-27  :   "We are saddened to hear the news of Ron's passing.  His bright smile and loving attitude will be missed at Pharr South."

Harold & Teresa Berg (135 Columbine)  4-27  :    "We do not feel there is anyone in Pharr South Park who did not know Ron.  He was such a caring person who was willing to help anywhere he could.  If you asked him to help you with a problem or give you suggestions on a problem, he was right there.  We, as park residents, have been so blessed to have him as he did so many things to improve the park in any way he could.  Anytime you talked to him you could see the sparkle in his eyes and hear his good natured demeanor as he talked to you.  Thank you Ron!  We know you are in a place where you can look down on us and smile."

Maynard Boeckman (108 Hawthron)  4-27  :  What sad news.  Ron was a wonderful man, always concerned about others.  We will miss him.

Clarence Hicks  (369 Daisy) 4-27  :  "A good man and a good leader.  Always a smile!  Too bad he could not get the Board to go with the second building he so much wanted"

Jerri Miller  (90 Bluebonnet)  4-27 :  "What a loss for the park!  Ron was the kind of leader who was always ready to pitch in and get dirty.  And - just a nice man!"

Alice Raymond (former resident)  4-27  :  "How sad!  Ron was always the go-to guy when something needed done.  He never complained about anything.  Some years back, Ron had heard that I was going to need a new built-in microwave installed above the stove. He just showed up and got it done.  That was who he was.  Thank you for all you did for the people of Pharr South, Ron!"

Dale & Joan LaFrentz  (375 Pansey)  4-27  :   "Mary and family, You have our sympathy.  It was a shock when we heard the news. Ron was a truly wonderful man who we enjoyed getting to know.  He always had a smile ready for everyone.  Ron was “mister” everything to the people and to the park.  He will be missed by all of us and at all of the events at Pharr South.  Please know that you are in our prayers and we will think of you often."

John & Laurie Danielson  (62 Orange Blossom)  4-27 :  "We have lost a good friend and a dear man. We were all better people for knowing Ronnie. Rest in peace, you will be missed."

Nancy & Harry Bendt  (275 Painted Cup)   4-27  : "Ron was one of the nicest men we have ever met. Always willing to go that extra mile for his family, friends and residents of Pharr South. Ron exemplifies what a good Christian should be and I know he was welcomed home by our Lord. Rest in Peace Ron, you will be missed."

Don and Janice Hutchinson  (125 Columbine)   4-27  :  "Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our friend Ron Boser.  He was a true Christian man, ready to serve with a happy spirit. A fine example for us to learn from.  A smile comes to our face just thinking of all the times we were around him.  Just before we left the park for the summer he came walking his shoe.  (He didn't have a dog so he was taking his shoe for a walk)  What a Hoot he gave us!  Ron and I also had this thing about wearing our name tags.  There was always fun when Ron was around.  Ron thank you for blessing our lives for being our friend. You will be missed and remembered with smiles."

Chuck and Nancy Pace
(290 Painted Cup)  4-27  :
"There isn't anything that can be said or done to express our deepest condolences to Mary and her family.  We know that Ronny will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him so.  Always smiling and ALWAYS ready and willing to lend a"helping hand".  Ronny was a gentleman and a gentle man in all respects !  May he rest in peace.
Sending our loving thoughts and prayers for all the days ahead to all.  May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you have of this very precious man."

Jerry and Elaine Thompson  (87 Bluebonnet)   4-27  :  "Our sincere sympathy to Mary and all of the Boser family. It is a tragic loss.  Ron certainly was an energetic talented person who would do anything you asked of him. Coffee fellowship in the morning with Ron was always a good time. He will certainly be missed by all. God Bless to the family."

Charlie and Chris Murphy  (178 Mistletoe)  4- 27 :  "It's all been said and it's all so true. What a wonderful guy, we will all miss his cheerful ways and his helping hands. May he rest in peace and peace be with you in the coming months ahead. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help."

Jim, Judy and Vickie Shannon  (280 and 347 Painted Cup)  4-28  : "We were so shocked and saddened when we received the call about Ron passing.  I talked to Ron at coffee the day we left and told him I would be checking on him and he responded he was looking forward to a good rest and he would be fine.  Ron was a great friend, and board member who contributed so much to our community. Words cannot express all the greatness he has done for our park.  Our condolences to Mary and the family.  Ronnie will be missed by many.  May he rest in peace!"

Don and Maxine Richwalski (259 Fern)  4-28  :  "It has been a blessing to have known Ron during the past years.   Ron will always be remembered as a caring , never to busy to help, loving Christian. Maynard and Esther Gulbranson  (288 Painted Cup)  4-28 : "We, too, share all the thoughts of Ron's passing , such sad news. Another great quality that was another of Ron's life's treasures was his humbleness.  Never did we hear him 'build himself up'. He did everything out of dedication to his job at hand and his satisfaction was he pleased you. We'll miss him.  Our sympathy to you, Mary,  Doug and his family , as you each travel this journey alone, with family at your sides.  He was truly a good friend and father and grandfather also."

We will always remember the many jobs we had going when we first bought in Pharr South and Ron was always there to Help. The many gatherings we have shared, and making soup in small batches, have always been a problem for me, but I could always take  the letfovers to Ron. His Pickled Gizzards were always a hit.   When we said "Good Bye"  the morning we left on the 10th of April we didn't know it was our last goodbye.  Thanks for all you have done for everyone of us, and the Park will certainly miss your many talents.  May You Rest In Peace."

Jerry & Barbara Wolf  (352 Daisy) 4-29   "We were shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Ron Boser.
He was always there to help anybody and was always happy go lucky. Any electrical problem we had
Ron was always quick to fix. We had a good time at morning coffee with Ron. He will surely be missed at Pharr South."

Arvid and Boni Nelson (223 Sagebrush)   4-30 :     "Boni and I were both shocked to hear of Ron's passing. Our prayers go out to Mary and the family for their loss for the days ahead."
